Helloooooooo Wanderers! Welcome back to the Grinning Remnant weekly news recap.

I’ve got some tasty bits of new information to cover with you guys, plus one thing from last week that I missed. My bad.

Let’s get started, same as always.

  • There is “Dragonoid stuff in L4”.
  • No new Rabbits in the immediate future.
  • Some Fairy Tale support in L4
  • L4 Trailer will be in late May at the earliest. (See teaser released below)
  • When Alhama’at stands upright he is 8.5-9 feet tall. Hunched he is normal height. That’s why he is hunched most of the time.
  • Two new “plot relevant” characters in L4.
  • Stealth is not permanently gone. Could return as early as next cluster
  • More “Light” Ancient Magic? Possible.
  • Water is Jordan’s favorite attribute in L4.
  • Many previous Rulers will have Resonator cards in L4. Fits within Lore of them returning.
  • More folding cards like Alhama’at are possible but nothing anytime soon.
  • No immediate plans for FoW on Mobile.
  • Jordan continues to hint at the return of Sylvia in L4, even though she is “dead”.
  • No new bans imminent. Did not mention unbanning.
  • Special stones combining a single attribute with the ability to also produce Moon Will are highly unlikely. Seems Moon Will is going to be very restricted.
  • Spoilers for L4 start in May.
  • In the April Fools day artwork for the musical game, Charlottes’s keyboard says the brand is Attoractica.
  • Jordan says FoWCo spent way to much time determining who would play what in the band image.
  • There was an all Male band discussed as well.
  • Alhama’at is Jordan’s favorite J-ruler.
  • With set numbers increasing, ratios of specific cards will change. Some for the better.
  • Less Rulers in each set going forward.
  • Less Rulers with larger sets means more focused support.

Last Friday, FoWCo revealed the new promo cards for New Frontiers. This time we got Dance of Shadows and Space Time Anomaly. I am absolutely in love with this new Space Time as I love the card, and adding Moojdart to the art makes it even sweeter. Dance of Shadows features some wonderful new art as well this time with Dark Alice.

Once again Fiethsing takes down another event. She seems to be a very consistent ruler with the right build, speed, ramp and aggro fueling an aggressive early turn Gwiber. Pricia seemed the most popular with three copies representing in the Top 8. We also had another appearance from Alhama’at as well as Zero and the Guardian of Wind Magic Stones.

Check out the complete decklist for each deck here.

On Wednesday FoWCo released the teaser to the Echoes of the New World trailer. We definitely got a glimpse of some characters we have seen and few we haven’t. Not a lot of information is given and it is mostly visuals. Hopefully once the full trailer drops we will have an understanding of how this whole thing gets wrapped up.

Here is the official blurb from the Facebook page:

“The end is here. The lines for the final battle have been drawn. The forces of hope seek to save the world and bring about a new one, but it seems even old allies have joined the forces of despair to snuff out the light once and for all. Alice, Millium, and Kaguya lead the final, desperate charge against the overwhelming power of the enemy, now aided by former comrades. Is the only way to save the future to embrace destruction?”

Ryan posted a Metawatch for those going to Texas GP.  We hope you got that information before going!

Shadai played an April Fool’s Day joke on the community, listing all the things he’d like to see in Battle Simulator to make it good.  Pity the company has no plans to actually make any of that work

Taylor posted a great article about Tyler the Great Warrior.  An uplifting read about fighting cancer everyone should take a few moments to read.
